His Hero Is Gone Fifteen Counts of Arson
I've listened to this several times (as well as other HHIG records), and have come to the conclusion that this is one of my favorite sludge affiliated bands out there, even though most of the time they're quite a bit more crust punk that sludge. Doesn't matter though, they rock.
King Tubby The Late Great King Tubby
This is a comp, but it is a truly incredible one. Tubby had an output that is downright frightening to look at, but this really gives you a handle of it. I've been listening to this comp in bits and pieces for weeks now... literally. I don't know a lot about reggae, but Tubby is definitely one of my favorites now.
