Overrated:
Oasis, The Beach Boys, NWA.
(Although I must admit, each of these artists do have a few good songs and I certainly don't dislike Oasis.)
Underrated:
Blur, Vampire Weekend, Wu-Tang Clan, The Libertines, The Strokes
(Just think of all the carbon copies The Libertines spurred on, not to mention The Strokes... and Damon Albarn is a genius.)
