But yeah, once you do get past the first level the game really opens up and you kind of get into a good groove with it. It's funny too cause I borrowed the game from a friend and when I hung out with him the other day he admitted that he didn't make it past the first level himself.  |
It took me awhile to beat the first level too, mostly just because I had no idea as to what the hell was going on. By the time I found the severed head that gave me the ring to start fires to beat that weird puzzle I was just kind of going with it. Don't feel too compelled to try and figure out the plot on your first go, I've beaten that game at least 5 times and I only have a cursory understanding of what it's about.
