Damn, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill with those dumb classroom skits, where the teacher's all like 'What is love' and some homegirl's all like 'uh uh' as some homeboy cracks wise with his dawgs. That was some dumb shit. The worst one for dumb cutaways was Ready to Die, but the more I listened to GKMC, the more I appreciated the significance of the answer machine messages and the part they played in the story. They aren't just there as segues.

I do honestly believe that. But then again, I've been scrutinized in this forum because I don't like so called hip-hop classics like 'A Nation of Millions' '36 Chambers' and 'Ready to Die' so for me GKMC's easily better than the others.
