I had a 560Ti and recently upgraded to the 660Ti as well. 1920 res is fine for either card, which is the res I use for pretty demanding games.
Also, if you don't mind ordering online, there's a 24" Acer on sale for 129.99 at Amazon.

I'd recommend LED-lit though. I think there's another 24" Acer that's LED lit for about 160.
