For myself I want -need- a full time job that pays fairly well. It would be nice if it's a job I could enjoy but that may be asking too much. Long as I have good health insurance & paycheck I won't complain (much).

I'm sorry your mom has not yet fully recovered, crazed. I think you are a very good and caring son, and I'm sure that helps her a lot, although I can totally understand all the stresses involved emotionally and financially.
Too many people, however capable, are being offered only temporary positions rather than full-time with benefits. I see this happening at the firm where I work, which has always really valued its employees.
You and your mom are in my thoughts -- and I hope life treats you both much more kindly very soon.
