They had "Black Sabbath" minus one guy for years and still managed to put out music that sounded nothing like the original 5 albums. I do like this album, it just sounds uninspired and that of a band that is trying a bit to hard to recreate what made them famous. To be honest what does a inspired Black Sabbath album sound like if this is not it? Ozzy seems to have put a lot into his vocals on here and I think it sounds as good as anything else that he has sung......True his style of singing does not spurn inspiration a very matter of fact delivery, but there in lies the appeal in my opinion. I also think they just decided to make a album that sounded like they use to if that is trying too hard to create what once made them famous then you really have a catch 22 going on here. My favorite band of all time is the Beatles, but I can still appreciate what this band has accomplished over their career.
