Spurned? I'm pretty sure most of the songs on W2MN would've spurned airplay. I think radio stations were lining up not to play anything from that CD.

I respect Alice for trying to do new things and for putting out new music, especially when he has to know those albums aren't likely going to move a lot. I've never heard the Dragontown CD, but I've heard nothing but good things about it. I stopped paying attention--other than with a mild curiosity--after The Last Temptation, which I thought was okay, but nothing to write home about.
