I didnt say that was how it worked but I think it is very possible they sampled the song. The songs sound just alike. The reason why the song is so popular is because it sounds like Got To Give It Up. Now I like Robin and all but the fact that he is suing the Marvin Gaye Estate is bull****. They know damn well they sampled it. They sampled MJ (one of his most well known songs) and he doesnt even have a credit! Thats just straight disrespectful
You cant just sample songs and not give credit. The way he has handled the controversy has been poor in my opinion.
