I once dreamt that I was kidnapped by Bob Dylan and along with Mick Jagger, we were stuffed into the back of Dylan's (frankly spacious) Volvo, and we were forced to come up with an album that would surpass the emotional power of 70s music. Mick and I were unable to come up with anything apart a 78 track concept album called F*** Off Franklin Roosevelt something that Dylan (who was sitting in the front seat) described as "purely hysterical" and "incapable of being marketed in this current conservative economy". The primary issue was that the Volvo had very limited space, and so, outside of a few bass guitars and one of Bob's rusty harmonicas, we were unable to fit in the necessary gear to create an album that would literally change the face of music

That and the only refreshment we received was from sporadically presented packets of "Scampi Fries", which, as pub going people will know offer little in the way of consistent nutrition. We also feared that Dylan's mental condition was in question, as he was adamant that he would only drive in reverse on the wrong side of the road, and had crudely attempted to draw the artwork for Blood on the Tracks on each packet of scampi fries.

We eventually stopped at a newsagents, where Dylan went in to buy 15 soleros, in a hope that it would inspire us to create something that wasn't complete sh**. At that point I panicked, and destroyed all of our previous work, deciding that only a 567 minute snare solo by Jagger would be able to create such a powerful emotion in the listener. But before I could convince him to go along with it, he became trapped in the air-conditioning vent of the car and the resulting stress caused me to wake up in a cold sweat and the taste of old crisps in my mouth
