I thought the Osbourne's was actually fantastic. Didn't make me think any less of Ozzy himself, but showed he was a good guy who had his demons. He loved Sharon and his children, but had things he had to deal with. Showing Ozzy as a real person with vulnerabilities and problems may have taken away from the mystique for some, but he was ultimately the one the audience could care for and relate with.
His kids were spoiled *******s, but he loved them. Sharon was somewhat spoiled as well, but a loyal and caring presence.
Families aren't perfect, but the Osbourne family was replete with love and understanding, beneath all of the bull****.
