Music isn't dead, it's just lacking the personality that will combine enough talent and passion to excite the typically sceptical "indie" music snob with the marketability (looks) to excite the man in the grey suit that writes the big cheques. There's plenty of great music out there, it's just not being played by anyone conventionally pretty enough for it to explode again. Yet.
