/\ I agree, I haven't bought a Korn album since Issues, and I was disappointed with Issues. That's when they noticeably started going to a more electronic/Industrial sound (although there were hints of it on Follow the Leader) that was much more akin to alternative metal than their dark nu metal roots. By the time untouchables came out their style didn't even resemble their debut album anymore, as it was plagued big ballad songs and HUGE choruses dominated by Davis' new singing style that I wasn't fond of.

"as people have been pointing out here others did what they were trying to do already (and better, imo)." Any bands in particular you want to mention? I've been liking what other people are mentioning but still haven't heard anything pre-1994 as all around solid as Korn's debut.
