Dunno why Christian Bale gets so much credit for his acting in Nolan batman films. The movies are ok for what they are - a cheap plot line that gives excuses for special effect wizardry - but his performance, really? His tough guy voice in the films comes off as a bad impression of Clinton Eastwood one would hear in a bar, and he was required to have the emotional range of a ****ing quarter. He was either or so angry or quite and sad
How about we look at a film staring Christian Bale that really required his acting to sell it... like The Machinist. And that film was terrible.
