I would say that that the peak of EDM is anything but faceless. The
PR behind these producers is pushing them out into the general consciousness. The music might be slightly generic (if you listen to Guetta exclusively). Pretty sure a lot of people would recognise your average superstar DJ these days, especially in Europe.
