Building muscle is a very slow process though and you need some knowledge of how it works and how to build a routine plus a decent understanding of nutrition. Fat is only difficult to lose when you're sub 10% ish as the body starts to cling to the little it's got left. If someone is already obese it's pretty quick and very easy, you'll probably drop a stone without even exercising just making simple changes in your lifestyle
It's very difficult and time consuming to get sub 10% and be built like the guy in the OP.
The reason why people and in particular women (not even sexist just telling the truth tbh) struggle is because they constantly try to shortcut the whole thing and drop 5 dress sizes in 30 seconds, lose 20 stone by eating cake, chocolate and burgers 6 times a day etc... and also thinking that fat is the enemy, plus the whole 'toned' thing. I blame the media/magazines.
