Anthony Braxton Quartet - 12 Compositions

This quartet features Braxton on woodwinds, Marilyn Crispell on piano, Mark Dresser on bass, and Gerry Hemingway on drums. Braxton's style of jazz is very uncompromising, and results in a unique album from this creative quartet. Consisting of (you guessed it) 12 compositions that rely on written elements as well as improvised structures mapped out by Braxton. This album is awesome, imo, and if you're a fan of jazz, you'll at least be in for an interesting listen.
