I already gave this a listen a few weeks ago from Pitchfork and found it to be a pretty decent album, nothing mind blowing but a good little album. Perhaps not as amazing the 13 year wait would seem to indicate, but it's not like the Del, Kid Koala, or Dan the Automator were just sitting in a room throwing pencils into the ceiling tiles during all that time. The fact that it had the potential to be another
Chinese Democracy and averted the fate of that ill conceived album are reason enough to celebrate its release.
