I don't know how or why but I confuse names by the last few letters, not by the first letter like most people do (like James/John or Maureen/Margaret). I was thinking Jessica because I knew her named ended with "ica." I'm kinda embarrassed I called Erica 'Jess'

Yeah, I basically agree with your observation, but I would've said "very mildly..." I'm not saying they have the same personality; just that they share the same disregard for English language while posting.
