i really hope you can help me out here. I'm looking for songs that -as the topic suggests - use breathing as a stylistic element.
Songs of the likes of:
- Tame by The Pixies
- G.I. Joe by The Melvins feat. Mike Patton
- The Messege by Grandmaster Flash
- Je t'aime moi non plus by Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin
Could you offer me some more suggestions?
As to the genre, I prefer Punk/Grunge/Garage/Alternative, Experimental and/or Acid Rock. But I'd also be glad to learn about examples from Hip Hop, Jazz, Blues, any electronically created or rearranged music. Also, anything else - I'm up for surprises!
