There was one incident of him being a drunken idiot at a hockey game a few years ago while he was a city councillor, but it really was not an issue for people during election time since most didn't know about that. There is only a year left until the next mayoral election in this province, and Ford will be running again. I doubt he will be re-elected after this debacle, though.
Ford's Policy Adviser just quit today (and an alarming number of his staff have left since these allegations came out in May... suspicious).

There was also his conflict of interest case that happened in June, where he used official city letterheads to solicit donations for the football team that he coaches.
