my childhood was confusing and unfortunate for the most part but one of my best memories involved my mom spinning records with me in the kitchen; I was about 3-4 at the time - she also taught me how to read, I was quite proficient and ahead of my peers when I started school (I was almost 4 years old, they treated me like some sort of child prodigy and I never understood why until I was much older).

and then there was this time when I was 13/14 when a friend of mine invited me over for the night and we went dancing/running through puddles and mud in the rain.

then there was a time when I was about 16, a very attractive boy delivered a single rose to my doorstep on Valentine's day.

there's more, but those are the bright ones that come to mind.
