I always used to get general tso's chicken, broccoli beef, and veggie fried rice. Like any other non-white people food, most readily available Chinese food is either "watered down" or tailored to American and/or European palettes. I'm far from an expert on the subject but if I'm not mistaken most authentic Chinese food is steamed rather than fried. Oil wasn't introduced into the Chinese culinary regime until the 1900s because it was too expensive. I think it's also mostly fish and fowl, not a lot of beef or pork is native to China. This is all random bits of info that I feel like I heard somewhere, could be true could be bogus.

I stopped eating meat recently so not a whole lot that I really like that I can get delivered. Out of everything animal-product related, I probably miss that order more than anything. Except cheese. Good god do I miss cheese.

edit: DJ beat me to it. whatevz.
