ugh.

I don't even think customers want to hear this crap.

but you know, I was momentarily torn between "oh god, it's begun, and we've only just gotten rid of that awful Halloween music" and "but I hear the voice of Karen Carpenter..." but after less than a week I already wish it was February.

When I was working for Walmart years ago, this really obnoxious song about "Suzie Snowman" or "Suzie Snowflake" or some irritating nonsense would play at least 5 times a day. Are there people in this world that live for Christmastime?

Because they've clearly never worked in retail.

In defense of the really dumb lyrics to the "classic" Christmas songs, a lot of them were written over 100 years ago and people were (to put it nicely) simple.

(And they took heroin for constipation. These people were off their rockers already.)
