I think a little swat from time to time is acceptable but going ape
shit on your kid, smacking them up, taking out your anger on them ... it's just disgusting. There is never an excuse for prolonged abuse. Some of the people I see (customers, but rarely do they ever strike me as actual human beings) are so nasty to their children, or so indifferent to them that it makes me sick. It makes me think to myself "holy s
