positives of children:
- eventually they'll be old enough to help out around the house.
- eventually they'll get a job.
- eventually they'll move out.
the prerequisites to any sort of return from unnecessary breeding are just too unpleasant, though. Why bother with a child, which you have to tend to pretty much 24/7 for years and years on end when you can just get a cat or any other creature that'll clean its own ass, eat what it's given, and be cute regardless of what they do?
