Cool thread!

I would say Rebelution certainly progressed a whole lot through their debut EP and first three albums.

Their first full length album released in 2007 Courage To Grow was really good, showed a lot of potential in the band. They have a really clean reggae sound on this album, with really catchy melodies and tasty guitar licks. Erics guitar work really got me into this band years ago because its pretty unique in this genre.

A very very solid album with a few skippable songs. 3.5 outta 5

With their second album Bright Side Of Life, Rebelution continued with their clean reggae sound but added more depth. Horn sections, more piano and keyboard as well as more use of acoustic guitar. Eric also really developed his voice a lot between the albums.

Another very solid release from the band, with a nice amount of new depth. 4 out of 5

With their latest release Peace of Mind, Rebelution completely blew me away. Each song really stands out as it's own being and it really shows how far these guys have come as song writers. The arrangements on the songs are so good. They don't limit themselves on this album, their is a song for everyone. There are elements of world music, drum and bass, reggae, rock, ska, hip hop sprinkled all in a beautiful soothing sound of amazingness.

If that wasn't good enough, the album is a triple album. With the original studio versions, as well as acoustic and dub versions for each song. It shows that these guys really love to make music. Each version is unique and in some cases I enjoy the acoustic versions more than the studio versions.

Their first two albums had me as a casual fan but this album really made me now a lifelong fan of them. Every song is great, not a skippable one among them. When you include the dub and acoustic versions then you're looking at over two hours of sheer reggae deliciousness 5 outta 5!
