^ Yes, I find that sometimes; the first album I hear from an artist is often the one that impresses me the most, and the next one feels like a runner-up - though come to think of it, the reverse happens plenty of times too...

The Allman´s have so many great guitar solos; I´m choosing this instrumental because, by their standards, it´s pretty concise but clearly demonstrates what they are capable of:-



With this song, it´s not so much the solo that catches my attention as the cool dialogue that´s goes on between the guitar and the vocals, right from the opening bars.
