Can You See Me?
Hey. This is a song I wrote about a year or so on ukulele, but then transferred over onto guitar, then brought into band rehearsal to build a fuller/more complete sound/atmosphere to.
It is called "Can You See Me?". It is on my band's album "walking home to night".

My limited initiative
It doesn't matter what I give
In hopes that I can hold you close

The lonely nights without a dear
has reduced my life to tears
but I am always waiting here
Can you see me when I'm singing to your heart?
Is there something that is keeping me apart?
Do I continue forth, or take this as a sign
that it's time for me to depart
The kisses that I never get,
The women that I've only met
the dance of solitude
I'm unable to forget
forgive me if I'm being bold
I'm now afraid of feeling old
And sleeping in a bed that keeps me cold
Can you see me when I'm singing to your heart?
Is there something that is keeping me apart?
Do I continue forth or take this as a sign
That it's time for me to depart?
