TRUE WIDOW - AS HIGH AS THE HIGHEST HEAVENS...(2011)
Been jamming this a lot lately, after being introduced to their album Circumambulation from last year. Beautiful shoegaze/stoner rock. Both male and female droning vocals, slow riffs, and some lovely moments of melody.
WE ARE KNUCKLE DRAGGER - TIT FOR TAT (2012)
Absolutely brilliant mathy hardcore from the band from Newcastle/Dublin. Been kinda obsessing over them as of late. Took me a couple of listens to last years The Drone before fully appreciating it, as it sounded a little disjointed initially. Their first record offers much of the same. Some really huge, bouncy riffs and grooves and mathy breakdowns.
