Lots of replies to get through here. Flattered guys but don't just make the thread about me: anyone else you want to get into any other genre/subgenre? No? Thought not. Guess we'll stick with me then. I'll explain to anyone who wants to what I don't like about the jazz I've heard later but for now, some of your postcards.

Love classical. Some chamber music can be boring and of course like all genres I don't love everything about it or every composer, but I'm always up for a good classical tune. Favourites would be Mendelssohn, Grieg, Holst, Rachmaninoff, Mozart, Chopin, Debussy, Stravinsky, Strauss and a whole lot more...

Now let's take one from Anteater

Could very well be the case. I'm not saying I hate all jazz, cos that would be, well, stupid. But what I've heard in passing has not impressed me.

This is from Janszoon, who asks

Correct. I'm a huge Waits fan. Don't really see too much jazz in his music though: care to point it out? I know he's been linked with the genre but I've heard nearly everything from him and I see little if any jazz. Am I deaf? You'll surely say so. But let me know.

Don't forget: that phone line is open for requests and dedications! Let's go back to the postcards. Here's one from someone who calls themselves Forward to Death. Hmm.

Some of us don't. Some of the jazzier prog I also do not like.

And then we have Engine, who reminds us

Will be listened to in due course.

Have never heard any jazz I liked. It leaves me cold. I don't like anything I've heard about it. I'm not saying it's not good but I have never been in any way attracted to it. Too freeform maybe? Dunno. Just never did anything for these ears.

And let's take one more before we go. Oh! It's Engine again.

I think they all realise how hard this is going to be. Not to mention that I've a ton of other stuff to listen to before I get to any of this. I promise I will give it all a shot though and let you guys know.

Thanks kids! Keep em coming! You know our address. Till next week, same time, same station, keep well!
