The album recently dropped but it was ranked number 4 on itunes last week

It has been almost 5 years since MJ passed away. Now if you had said this argument when MJ initially passed away, I would agree but I think his albums still chart because people obviously love his music.
All his albums sold pretty well before he passed. He is the third biggest selling act of all time and this was well established before he passed.
