elements of punk rock such as the buzzsaw guitars, fast bass-snare-bass-bass-snare drum beats, the snappy tone of the bass. it blends well with ska. if it has the prefix or suffix punk, then its going to have some of the above elements in it, not just a band that doesnt have technical skill. and punk FASHION is about having spikey hair peircings etc, you dont' have to look like a punk to be into punk music in my opinion.
