I'd say with a certain level of certainty that I'm a good friend to people. I believe that if theres a category I fall into when it comes to the kind of person I am, its the 'nice guy' category. I believe that when people talk about me when I'm not there that that is the kind of thing they would be likely to say about me. I think I'm also pretty inoffensive and not at all likely to really upset or anger anyone.
I know that if any of that is true, then I should be content. I should be happy. Most of the time I am and I am proud to be who I am....yet ****ing sometimes any of these things are quite literally the last things I want to hear. Sometimes they are the last things I want to be.
"You should be happy! You should be proud of who you are!" If one more objectively "happy" person, who has what they want, who know what they are doing or where they are going, and who know who they are tell me this I am going to ****ing erupt.
