Lumbar - The First and Last Days of Unwelcome

an unfortunate one time collaboration between Aaron Edge (Roareth, Rote Hexe, Hauler, etc.), Tad Doyle (TAD) and Mike Scheidt (YOB, Vhöl).....at first listen it really is a damn near perfect sludge/doom album.....slow building and crushing chords....desperate and misanthropic bellows....and even some Sunn0))) inspired ambiance....

but when you find out the story behind the collaboration it becomes even more doom riddled
