Are you honestly arguing that Refs do not make controversial calls?
This is a issue that affects all sports not just the NBA.
A bad call can GREATLY impact the outcome of a game.
It happens ALL the time.

wade got a ton of calls in th e'06 finals vs dallas
the lakers vs kings western finals yrs ago was rigged
other than that i dont think its rigged for any team. a ref would have to feel 100% comfortable in those calls and they werent. cause they were tough calls.
btw david stern is no longer commish. crazy how the game has changed with him as commish
