Some recommendations here that I´ll be checking out today; Shangri-la-dee-da from dca and Nebraska from Psy-Fi.

As for this, Tom Jones is treated as such a joke by so many, that I really have to listen to what he´s been up to here:-

A good album is one that you´re happy to play from start to finish without getting annoyed or bored, right ? With that definition in mind, I´d say that these artists only have one good album:-
David Bowie got it right with Hunky Dory, Zappa ditto with Hot Rats and Dire Straits with Love Over Gold.
