Really like this album as well. More so as the album progresses as the songs become more haunting and personal.
Osanna were an Italian prog band during the '70s. This CD collects their 1971
L'Uomo and 1972
Milano Calibro 9 albums. The former is a mix of prog with jazz & hard rock with both Italian & English vocals. I'm reminded at times of Jethro Tull or King Crimson. The latter is a soundtrack to a mob film and is mostly instrumental (2 vocal tracks). The music is more orchestrated & shows much songwriting growth from the previous release. I'm enjoying this so much I plan to track down what is supposed to be their best offering,
Palepoli, from 1973.
