Of course people can challenge outlandish claims but the person making the outlandish claim doesn't owe you any explanation for said claim.
I also said in that same post you quoted that by doing so it doesn't further music discussion any but it's still their choice to do so whether you like it or not.

What I disagree with is you suggesting that that is good enough explanation when it isn't. Just because they do not have to explain any further does not mean that is a
good explanation for their opinion.
No one does not owe me anything on this board. I get that..
I just simply (harmlessly) asked if they could explain their opinion further but it it is evident that most here can not give mature opinions about Michael Jackson's music without insulting him or cracking jokes which has been made clear with all the responses in this thread.
