So if it is independent music that is backed by a label that is not commercial or mainstream (which can make independent artists hard to discover and less accessible to the general public) that means they are less well known than the mainstream artists. That means they are not playing on the radio, backed by the industry or commercialized so it would be harder to know about them unless you already are a fan or found out about them by researching. I am just curious as to how you personally would define that since you don't think that independent/indie music is obscure?
The dictionary definition of Obscure is
"not discovered or known about;not well-known; not known to most people;likely to be understood by only a few people " so how would you define it since you disagree with the universal definition?
