I'd like to suggest an album but I'm really not sure if you could call it emo genre or just post-hardcore.
(cause I don't really know how to define the emo style)
So my suggestion is the album
United by fates from the band Rival Schools. Walter Schreifels is the lead singer/guitarist, a big composer with a lot of influences. I've listened to this album like a million time and after listening the suggestion You blew it!, I thought it could be recommand for the emo album.
Please tell me if I'm totally wrong
By the way,
Grow up dude is really a cool album. Good voices and guitars sound like they have been taken from a math-rock band. Remind me American Football. I'd be glad to vote for them but maybe I'm too late.
