Same goes for Wind waker in fact i remember when Wind waker came out ppl were so used to the kind of format the N64 Zelda games had that Wind waker was received with alot of skepticism just cause it looked like a children's coloring book lol
but damn the game was awesome they again changed the formula and f*ckin nailed it i really hope they keep taking creative risk with the Zelda games

Aside from the visual style in Wind Waker, I think they've played it extremely conservative ever since OoT in pretty much every other area.
I really hope they take a new mix it up for the Wii U version.
