I agree with you there, to a point. It seems that music is a predominantly male driven industry, and we could go into a bunch of pop psychology and psychoanalysis on that subject unto it self. But it would seem to me, that women don't put their music out there as much as men do, and I dunno why that is. There are tons of talented women out there! Are they just shy?

Now I pose this question,

As a male do you respond to female vocals more so then male?


I pick up on men's voices more, because the lower tones are soothing to me.
But that's not to say I don't love female vocalists because they are like crack to my soul, I can identify with them. But on first listen if you were to give me a record done by a man and a woman I would mostly take the one with male vocals first off first spin.
