For sound quality & at your price point, I would go with Klipsch S4i Ear Buds. Best buds I've heard under $150, hands down. It's the quality & durability of the hardware itself that I'm a bit leery about. The buds are well constructed but the wires are thin & feel weak. I've owned a pair for 2 years and I'm still amazed at the sound quality and, knock on wood, they've held up quite well but I wouldn't recommend them for exercising or any type of strenuous activity. Plane rides, casual listening while walking ... buy them ... running the marathon ... pass.
