The last recorded lynching in the United States (as the US knows) was back in 1981 Michael Donald a 17 year old African American man was publicly hanged by two KKK members in Alabama while he was walking home from a grocery store. This was after the Post Civil Rights Era.

Black people are not suppose to be angry about this?

Rappers are not suppose to make songs about this?

This is problematic.

Trayvon Martin (2012) was shot walking home from a store JUST because he had a "hoody" that is a stereotypical characteristic of gang member or thug. He was 17 and shot just because of that stereotype that is associated with African American young men. The killer was cleared of ALL charges. Here it is 2014 and this crap is still going on.

When is it going to stop?

I am just tired of white people acting like this crap does not go on and ignoring the prejudice/injustice issues that affect other minorities. I just think it is ignorant.

There is nothing wrong with rappers talking about these issues in their songs.
