I credit my interest in the show more to the acting and directing than the writing.
The script was great during the first few episodes. The banter between rust and cohl is delightful.
Too many subplots are confoundedly not fleshed out, however. What about the possibility of police involvement in a cover up conspiracy? Same with the church?
What about cohls daughter's drawings?
A lot of it was included with blatant disregard for any form of conclusion. I know the show will have more seasons, but the subplots pertaining to these characters specifically should have some, even if very abstract, resolution.
Still loved the show, wasn't completely disappointed in ending, but it certainly could have been more enticing, though it was satisfactory.
