My recommendation would be
Blues & Roots by Charles Mingus. It doesn't sound much like
Kind of Blue but it's an album I really enjoy. It's very bluesy, which I think you'd enjoy, and course it was made by one of the most legendary composers/musicians in all of jazz so it's well worth a listen.
Also, you might be interested in
A Love Supreme by John Coltrane. It's a great album that's more in the direction of
Kind of Blue. In fact Coltrane was in Miles' band on
Kind of Blue.
