Black Sun Aeon
This is definitely one of those moments that i'm just struck off guard by an artist that i've never heard because of how amazing the music is. I'll only mention one album because it only took me one listen to really get into it straight away. After that, it was just smooth sailing and no disappointments.
Darkness Walks Beside Me
Don't let the cheesy album title push you away, this album is pretty damn good and has a good layout and the album as a whole is mixed together so well that it feels like a journey. It's really been a while since I was unexpectedly surprised by a melodic death metal because a lot of it just sounds the same to me now, but finding this one really got me back into the genre.
