You're not as lost as I am - I don't know much about those two bands you've just mentioned. I'm not much into Animal Collective though funny you mention Deerhunter, Bradford Cox was in that band but he does some stuff under the moniker Atlas Sound. I like some of his stuff like
Mona Lisa by Atlas Sound.
