I think she's living on borrowed pop culture time. Her last album didn't do as well as it should've, so this was her comeback album. If it's not doing so well then she might be screwed. At any other time in history, back when they didn't have Twitter and Facebook and all of these other things that can keep one perpetually in the public light, she would have dropped off the radar long ago. All the talk about her outfits and weird crystal yoga are really the only thing keeping her in any way relevant these days.

I think her career was fine until 2011 when Born This Way came out. That album turned a lot of people away from her, despite being successful. It's a shame, too. Because in 2009/2010, she seemed like she was going to last in the music industry. But now, it's becoming more clear that she's the Cyndi Lauper of our generation. People will still remember her in 20 years, but no one will care. She'll be playing clubs and theaters instead of arenas and stadiums. Heck, her Artrave tour already has smaller venues than her last tour.
